What I think about this quote is that education is not a sprint it takes its time to learn and dedication to pass all your classes with good grades and graduate from high school and then college. Education is a marathon because you have to put effort, dedication and be a good student to do all your things that are assigned to you. For example if you want to graduate from high school you have to pass all your classes and pass the exit exam.
