       “Character is higher than intellect.”

                  -Ralph Waldo Emerson

Reflection:

What I think about this quote of Ralph is that our characters if higher than intellect because if we have good character many doors can open for us but if we don’t have good character many doors are going to close. Intellect is not going to be worth anything because of our character is not good enough.

“What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us.”

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Reflection:

What I think about this quote of Ralph is that it talks about lies that they are always with us and they need to leave us alone. We don’t need to lie because our conscious won’t leave us alone. We will regret what we said and did. If we don’t lie we feel happy and our conscious is clean.
